The Challenge

UrbanEats operated 40+ fast-casual restaurants with outdated countertop POS systems that were slow, prone to downtime, and required extensive staff training. During peak hours, long queues and payment delays led to customer churn. They needed a lightweight, mobile-first cashier app that enabled line-busting, offline functionality, and seamless integration with existing kitchen and loyalty systems.

We built QuickTap POS — a React Native mobile app that turns any tablet or smartphone into a fully functional cashier station. With offline-first architecture, real-time sync, and intuitive touch-optimized UI, staff can process orders 3x faster — even during internet outages.
